Been a few weeks since the last post….a brief recap of the month.

Completed my first shoot for Business Week magazine, actually for Small Biz Magazine which owns/operates Small Biz Magazine. I can’t share the details just yet….but I will once the images run.

Lots of family time around the Thanksgiving holiday. Snapped some pics for my brother Andy.

The Loginator:

Did my first SLR video work for a client in Kansas City. Rented the Nikon D90 from Digital Labrador. Lots of different elements at play with video but is was fun to put some of those new tools to use. Planning on doing a Santa Fe workshop with my buddy Brandon Sullivan with Mr. Vincent LaForet in March. A great opportunity to learn some new skills from one of the pioneers of SLR video work.

Going to participate with Help Portrait on December 12th here in Kansas City.  Any KC based photographers or makeup/hair folks that might be reading this and have an interest in participating please let me know.

Saw my friend Eric Stonestreet turn on the Mayor’s Christmas Tree in Crown Center last night.

It is November 28th and over sixty degrees today in Kansas City. Not a day to be sitting on the computer. Heading out for a nice long run….

If you have been following along over the past couple months you have read a few posts about my “Fight Night” project.

After pushing my graphic designer Scott Keawekane of Creative Squeeze to the limit I think we have a final version ready to share with the world. The piece will be printed and shipped to a very small selection of future (thinking positive here) clients.

Been working with the “8 x 10″ Deardorff a bit over the past few months. Definitely some hits and misses but I have to say when it is right there is nothing like it.

Next step doing some portraits out and about with it….stay tuned.
